FX Cartel Academy ("we", "us", "our") provides forex and stock trading education in Dubai, the UK, India and Abu Dhabi. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and Dashboard, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Checkout & enrollment: full name, mobile number, email address, and optionally your address and date of birth, when you book a free session or purchase a course.
• Location: if your browser permission allows it, an approximate device location captured at checkout — used only for enrollment records, never shown publicly.
• Payment: paid courses are processed by our payment provider, Paymob. We do not receive or store your full card details — only the payment status and a transaction reference.
• Dashboard: your login email, course progress, and PDF reading position, so you can resume where you left off.
• Contact form: name, phone, email and message, if you use the contact form or WhatsApp/call links.
• Cookies & advertising measurement: if you accept our cookie banner, we use Meta Pixel to measure how effective our Facebook/Instagram ads are — see "Advertising & Meta Pixel" below.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your enrollment and Dashboard access.
• To process payments for paid courses via Paymob.
• To send you login codes, class schedules and course materials.
• To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form or WhatsApp.
• To measure and improve the performance of our advertising, where you've accepted cookies.

Advertising & Meta Pixel

With your consent (see the cookie banner shown on your first visit), we use Meta's Pixel and Conversions API to understand which ads lead to enrollments. This can include:

• Standard browsing events (e.g. viewing a course, starting checkout).
• A server-side confirmation when a paid enrollment is actually completed — sent directly from our payment system to Meta, using a securely hashed version of your email/phone (never sent in plain text).

You can decline this by choosing "Reject" on the cookie banner, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site to be asked again. Declining does not affect your ability to enroll or use the Dashboard.

Who we share data with

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores enrollment and portal data.
• Paymob — our payment gateway, for paid courses.
• Meta — for advertising measurement, only with your cookie consent.
• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Data retention

We keep enrollment and portal records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting and support purposes. Contact us if you'd like your data reviewed or deleted sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you're located (including under UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

Our courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
